Still Life :

This series of nine images is a very personal exploration of the artist's reaction to her brother’s suicide. Amongst many of the thoughts she is still attempting to get head around is the absolute disbelief that 'life' can be breathing, interacting, moving and storing memories one second and then be 'still' the next second.

By explicitly showing the separation and lifelessness of eight important body organs which have been removed from a normal context and shattered apart by the introduction of a shotgun she hopes to visually express the essence of her absolute shock and show how she feels about the stillness of death.
